Deciding on the right higher education path after high school is an important decision that can have a significant impact on your future.

Here's a few things to consider:

  • Self-reflection centered on your interests, strengths, and passions.

  • Researching your higher education options including colleges, universities, trade schools, and even online higher education programs.

  • Location including factors like the climate/environment, cost of living, distance between friends and family.

  • Many other factors also plays a major role when deciding your post high school graduation, higher education.

It's always good to know the difference and determine which will be best for you.

Colleges and universities provide you with opportunities for post-secondary education, so the decision of which one is a better match for your goals is ultimately up to you. Colleges typically have a smaller size and focus on specialized areas of study, while universities are larger institutions that prioritize research and offer graduate degrees.

Trade schools, are also referred to as a technical school. Trade schools provide post-secondary educational facilities aiming to provide students with specialized training for a particular occupation in a skilled trade industry. If you're considering a trade school you will be provided with practical, hands-on training to equip you for real-world employment within your selected field.

Always keep in mind that selecting the appropriate higher education route is your individual choice, and what is effective for one person may not be suitable for another.

Take your time, conduct thorough research, and choose a path that is in harmony with your objectives and passions.

Sincerely
