FAFSA: Free Application For Student Aid

FAFSA is used to determine if you are eligible for grants, scholarships, work-study programs, and loans. There are certain eligibility requirements, including financial needs, to be considered.

Keep in mind, some financial aids do not have to be repaid such as grants or scholarships. However, federal student loans received through FAFSA do have to be repaid with interest after you graduate or leave school.

Be sure to know the required information needed and deadlines for applying.

We always encourage to try and get scholarships and grants, however, if you have to go the FAFSA route as well, don't be discourage but create a plan that will help you cover your financial responsibilities for attending school when its time for repayment.

For additional information regarding FAFSA you may visit their website directly at www.studentaid.gov

Sherry, Your C.L.A.S.S., Inc. Student Mentor
